Johnus Greenlee, a native of Chicago, Illinois, was a young man growing up in the city of Chicago who developed a great passion for music while in high school. Johnus received his high school diploma from Morgan Park High School in Chicago. While in high school, Johnus served as a key musician as well as drum major for the Marching Band.

Johnus later furthered his education at Bethune-Cookman University, where he obtained a degree in Music. While at Bethune-Cookman, Mr. Greenlee joined the world renowned Marching Wildcat Band under the Direction of Mr. Donovan Wells. Being apart of the Marching Wildcats allowed Johnus to travel throughout the US performing at major events such as collegiate football games, NFL football games, major parades and special appearances.  Mr. Greenlee was also a key player in the Bethune Cookman University Symphonic Band.

Mr. Greenlee currently serves as the Assistant Director of Bands for the Darlington High School Band Program.  He teaches General Music at St. John's Elementary and also serves as the director for the Rosenwald Elementary Middle School band.  Johnus Greenlee is now in the process of building a band program at St. Johns Elementary.  This initiative is really taking off strong.  Mr. Greenlee is affiliated with several organizations such as Florida Music Educators Association and the South Carolina Music Educators Association.
