Darlington High School Band alumnae graduates from Lander University.
Adrianna Sawyer is a native of Darlington, South Carolina. She attended Darlington High School in 2012 as a freshman. She graduated from Darlington High School in 2016. While attending Darlington High School, Adrianna served on the band for over 4 years as a flag girl. Adrianna has been under the leadership of former Director Mr. Christopher Simpson and current Director Mr. Brendan L. Johnson. Upon graduating from Darlington High School, Adriana Sawyer became a student at Lander University where she majored in Healthcare Management. Director of Bands, Brendan Johnson says: "Adriana was one of my very first students here at Darlington High School. I could never forget the time when I first met
Adriana. She was a students who always had a bright spirit and a caring attitude. She knew how to bring about smiles and laughter to anyone. Although Adriana graduated before experiencing the growth the band has encountered, she plays a huge part in why we are who we are today. Words can't express how proud I am to see band students not only graduating from high school, but graduating from college."
Adriana Sawyer now plans to further her education at Webster University in January 2020 where she'll be earning her Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration.
