Darlington High School Band alumnae graduates from Lander University.
Fraschell Sansbury is a native of Darlington, South Carolina. She attended Darlington High School in 2012 as a freshman. She graduated from Darlington High School in 2016. While attending Darlington High School, Fraschell served on the band for over 4 years. As a flag girl. While Marching for Darlington High School, she obtained the position as Flag Captain over 23 girls. Fraschell has been under the leadership of former Director Mr. Christopher Simpson and current Director Mr. Brendan L. Johnson. Upon graduating from Darlington High School, Fraschell became a student at Lander University where she majored in Criminology. Director of Bands Brendan Johnson says: "Fraschell was one of my very first students here at Darlington High School. We knew Fraschell was destined for greatness the moment we met her. She always treated her peers with respect and valued their time. I can definitely say that is because of people like Fraschell that has made the band what it is today."
Fraschell Sansbury now plans to further her education at the University of South Carolina where she'll be earning her Masters Degree in Social Work.
We are beyond excited about the success of Ms. Fraschell Sansbury. Not many college students graduate in 4years but Fraschell was one of few who did!
