Marching Falcon Band Honors Alumna Adrianna Sawyer for Academic Excellence and Leadership in Healthcare
Darlington, SC — The Darlington High School Marching Falcon Band proudly celebrates Adrianna Sawyer, a member of the Class of 2016 and one of the foundational leaders who helped shape the program’s early success. Adrianna served as a flag girl and flag captain under the leadership of Dr. Brendan L. Johnson, Director of Bands, and was a key figure in the band’s achievement of its first-ever superior rating in marching band performance.

Adrianna was not only known for her discipline and grace on the field but also for her strong academic focus. In the fall of 2016, she attended Lander University, earning multiple academic scholarships and graduating in 2019 with a degree in Health Care Management. Continuing her pursuit of excellence, she later earned a Master’s degree in Health Care Administration and a Master's degree in Human Resources from Webster University.
Adrianna is now a rising leader in the healthcare field, using her talents and education to serve communities and make a lasting impact behind the scenes of patient care.
